VRS Closes M&A Transaction for Heavy Equipment Rental Company
Vogt, Resnick & Sherak, LLP (“VRS”) recently closed an asset sale transaction for its client (“Seller”). Seller is a family owned company that operated a heavy equipment rental business. Seller has been in business in Southern California for over 48 years. Seller has had a long-standing reputation for providing quality construction equipment and tools, as well as, excellent customer service – earning Seller the loyalty of its customers. Buyer is an industry leading heavy equipment rental company with locations throughout the United States.
The VRS team was led by managing partner Jeff Resnick and associate attorney Jeannie Kang. Jeff and Jeannie worked closely with Seller and its tax and business advisors to determine the structure of the transaction. The fast-paced transaction required extensive due diligence, contract review, and coordination with tax and business advisors, as well as substantial negotiations with Buyer’s counsel.
