  • Vogt, Resnick & Sherak recently assisted a client to negotiate a settlement with her former employer for more than double the severance package that the employee had been able to negotiate. Furthermore, due to our efforts, the employer agreed to the settlement without the need of our office filing a lawsuit. Through the early use of the threat of litigation and quick, aggressive negotiation, Vogt, Resnick & Sherak was able to obtain a far better result than the client could have obtained without Vogt, Resnick & Sherak’s assistance.
  • Vogt, Resnick & Sherak recently assisted a client who was facing a threatened lawsuit by one of its former employees. The employee was threatening to sue the employer for wrongful termination. Vogt, Resnick & Sherak engaged in a full review of the employee’s file and history with the company. It revealed that the employee had been engaged in wrongdoing. She was taking funds belonging to the employer. The employee quickly acknowledged the wrongdoing and rather than pursuing litigation against the employer, returned the company funds and chose not to pursue a claim against the employer. The early investigation cut off the threat of long protracted litigation and recovered the employer’s stolen funds.
