Vogt, Resnick & Sherak Presents “The Ins and Outs of Mediation & Arbitration”
The Honorable David H. Brickner, Retired Judge of the Orange County Superior Court of California, and Barnet Resnick, managing partner of Vogt, Resnick & Sherak, LLP, presented “The Ins and Outs of Mediation & Arbitration from the Perspective of the Neutral and the Advocate”. The presentation was in association with the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and was hosted at JAMS Arbitration, Mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Services in March.
The presentation discussed the advantages and disadvantages of arbitration, and how to determine if mediation is appropriate for your case. Arbitration and mediation may be good alternatives to litigation. Alternative dispute resolution is very common in commercial and labor disputes and can expedite the legal process and maintain privacy.
